16 year old melodic artist, Black Savv will be making a name for himself more than in New York in 2020 as he prepares to release his next project by the end of 2019. As we enter the last two months of 2019, Controlled Sounds has Black Savv as a must Artist To Watch in 2020. Over the next twelve months, Savv will continue to release quality content, which includes music videos, interviews, singles, projects & more.

The young artist puts a lot into his tracks, as you can hear the emotion and pain throughout each song. Although he has been recording for 3 years, Black Savv has been rapping since he was about 6 years old.

The Coney Island artist has came a long way since his first track “Zombie” & progressed a substantial amount since his original track as well. “Dirty” (feat. HB Mark) was truly the song that gained Black Savv the most attention, as he racked up thousands of streams on SoundCloud.

Savv’s first music video was for his track “Eye 4 Eye” & was directed by Star Mazi back in late 2018.

More recently, Savv has dropped 2 songs that are capable of taking his career to the next level.

• 4 months ago, the Coney Island native dropped “Drown” which showcases his versatility through his melodic flow & witty word play. The artist mentions that he is in UFO, where he is photographed with other members in the image below.

• About a month ago, Savv dropped “Trenches pt 2” where you can truly hear the emotion throughout the whole track, in which he shows his versatile talent to add to “Drown”

In addition to everything that Savv has going for him, he started his own movement YFM which stands for “Young Focused Musicians”, the movement is a group, in which him and his brothers created in order to help each other accomplish their goals, as a unit. I personally got the chance to speak to him in regards to the meaning of his upcoming project “On The Moon” & he said “when I say i’m the On The Moon, I mean that i’m isolated and that i’m extremely different”. The EP will be coming out before the year ends, and he is very excited for his fans to hear it.

Savv is really close with an artist that goes by Quay Bandzz, the two young & talented artists collaborated on their track “Did It Again”. The track accumulated over 20 thousand streams on SoundCloud. Savv & Quay Bandzz actually have worked together previously & performed live together. Savv had a great run with bandzz, as Savv stated “he is like a brother to me”.
