Playboi Carti Hints at the Release of 'WLR'
Playboi Carti, who isn’t really in the headlines too often, has consistently been everywhere across the internet this past week. Last week, the 23 year old rapper, real name Jordan Carter, was arrested on possession of Drugs & Firearm, which was rumored to be dropped because the man he was with took all the charges. Other rumors have surfaced, according to TMZ, Carti actually told the arresting officer that he’d “F*** his daughter”.
After being in all the headlines for a few days, Carti released a photo to his Instagram of a cover art, which fans ultimately believe is the release of his highly anticipated album ‘WLR’.

The post has received massive traction as it gained nearly 1.75 million likes and over 100,000 comments in less than 24 hours.
Lil Uzi actually tweeted earlier this week “Playboi Carti” and fans can assume that this album is coming shortly. Our team at Controlled Sounds believe this promotional run is enough for the album to be released this Friday, however, we can see it releasing later this month as well.
