Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguex are reportedly taking steps to purchase the New York Mets

Jennifer Lopez, 50, & Alex Rodriguez, 44, have made a real step into purchasing the New York Mets. According to Mark Fischer of the New York Post, the two have retained JPMorgan Chase to raise capital for a possible bid of the MLB franchise. Fans can’t believe that after playing the majority of his career for the New York Yankees, he is taking steps into purchasing the other team in New York. 

The two have an estimated net worth around $700 million, meaning that they need to raise more capital in order to make the billion dollar deal. It is going to be interesting to see how this deal unfolds and see if the power couple in the entertainment & sports industry could close the billion deal.
