Kanye West, is officially a billionaire. The long time Hip Hop musical genius, then turned fashion mogul, has shown the receipts necessary for Forbes to prove he is indeed a billionaire. However, he has claimed this status for over 12 months, but just received confirmation.

Here is a clip from July 2018, where Kim Kardashian West claims her husband  [Kanye] is “almost a billionaire”. And apparently, Kanye had animosity with Forbes for covering his sister in law, Kylie Jenner, and not himself. He felt that it was left up to race, however, they did not have all the necessary receipts to name him a billionaire publicly.

Recently, Kanye has given all necessary receipts of the valuation of all his assets, and he is reportedly worth $1.4 billion according to Forbes, however, majority of his assets are highly illiquid, which means they valued him at $1.26 billion (90% of his current valuation).
