Kxppy Released His Debut Project 'Kxptxin America'
Kxppy, a New York artist has been on the rise and has been consistently working for about the past year now, since his first release ‘Leave Me Alone’, in which he was able to accumulate over 30 thousand streams on Soundcloud and has been improving his skills with each track he released since. As he was always into music, he credits Stin Se7en for guiding him through the music process and helped until he truly had the foundation he needed.
Kxppy has an interesting style and catchy flow, and truly showed his talents on his debut project ‘Kxptxin America’. The EP released on April 1, 2020 and it included 4 tracks, lasting 10 minutes & 47 seconds. The solo debut EP has no features, which gave Kxppy the opportunity to really showcase his versatility.
‘Wherever I go’, the first track off the project has island vibes between the beat and his flow, the two compliment each other to create a nice jingle.

Kxppy actually released a deluxe version of the EP on Soundcloud with two additional tracks, Fake Feelings & Love Me. The two have interesting beats and creative flows, with lyrics that derive from true emotions.
Kxppy told Controlled Sounds he grew up listening to “G Unit, Akon, Styles P, T Pain, Damian Marley & Lil Wayne” and fans could clearly see where he got his musical inspirations from. Later throughout 2020, he stated he will be dropping a lot more music videos, as soon as COVID-19 is over and he “has a few features with big name artists”. Kxppy has been working on his craft and is ready to take his career to the next stage, and it will be interesting to see what is next for the young & talented New York artist.
Controlled Sounds’ personal favorite song(s) off the project are Wherever I Go & Lesson, we feel these could be the tracks to gain him the traction he needs in order to get to the next level. However, overall the project didn’t have one bad song and we truly are excited to hear what Kxppy has for his fans in the future. Let us know what you think below!
