Jay Z's Net Worth Jumped 40% With The Sale Of Tidal & Champagne Brand

Hip Hop legend, Jay Z's net worth has officially risen more than 40% since the sale of his streaming service Tidal as well as his Champagne brand Armand de Brignac also known as “Ace Of Spades.” He recently sold majority stakes in his music streaming service Tidal to Jack Dorsey’s mobile payment company Square for $297 million dollars both Jay Z & Tidal’s artist shareholders will continue to have a stake in the company but Jack Dorsey’s company will hold the majority shares.

The news comes a week after the New York rapper sold half of his champagne brand Armand de Brignac to LVMH, in which the champagne company was valued at $640 million dollars. The two deals help the rappers net worth rise from 1 billion dollars to 1.4 billion dollars.
