Drake's 'Honestly, Nevermind' First Week Sales

Drake’s latest album - ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, dropped on June 17, 2022 and was released through OVO Sound & Republic Records & this is considered to be his seventh studio album. The first week sales are officially in and Drake was able to sell 210,323 copies first week, which was able to land him the number one spot, being his 10th number one album in his career. Drake truly tested boundaries on this project that he has never publicly released before, from sound to flows, to genre. The album only consisted of 1 feature across 14 tracks, coming from 21 Savage.

This is Drake’s first release since his release of ‘Certified Lover Boy’ in September of 2021 & fans seemed to have mixed feelings but he is one of few artists that would be able to walk the line of a different genre and still achieve a number one album. This is a project that will need to take time to really marinate with the masses, will have some timeless records.

Drake released the music video (Directed by Director X) for his record Falling Back, and featured a long list of models & a special appearance from Tristan Thompson, as the video took place at Drake’s ‘wedding’ of twenty three wives. The visual to this record was 9 minutes and was more like a short film than a music video.

The video was released on Drake’s YouTube Channel where he has over 26.5 million subscribers & has already accumulated over 10million views in one week.. And fans are waiting on a music video for Jimmy Cooks (feat. 21 Savage), as the audio reached 5 million already on YouTube, in addition to millions of streams across all streaming platforms.
