23 Years Ago Today, Life After Death Was Released

Approximately two weeks before his second studio album, Notorious B.I.G was shot and killed on March 9, 1997. On March 25 (today), 1997 the album “Life After Death” was released and it changed the rap game forever. The 24 track full length album had instant classics like Hypnotize, Mo money Mo Problems, Ten Crack Commandments, & What’s Beef. The 23 year old rapper (at the time) spoke about his death a lot and actually named both of his albums after the concept of dying.
