Polo G's 'Martin & Gina' Officially Certified 2x Platinum
Polo G’s hit single “Martin and Gina” has officially gone 2 times platinum since the track was released in August of 2020. The song is inspired by the sitcom Martin and the relationship of the two main characters on the show - Martin Payne and Gina Waiters and compares it to his own relationship with a girl. The song was his fifth single off his studio album “The Goat” which was his second studio album as the song debuted at number 22 on the Billboard charts.
The music video also takes inspiration from the sitcom “Martin” as Polo G plays the character of Martin and comedian and rapper Pretty Vee plays Gina as they act out various scenes from different episodes of the show.
