Internet sensation, Mario Judah is one of Controlled Sounds’ Artists to Watch in 2021, as he’s only started his career in early 2020 in which he became viral with songs like “Crush” and “Die Very Rough” within 12 months. Mario Judah is a very well rounded artist, and has a crossover between hardcore rock and hip hop. He produces, writes, and records all of his own music. He is also known for his viral video of him performing a cover of DaBaby hit song “Rockstar” on stage at his show in 2020.
His song “Die Very Rough” became a very viral song on the platform TikTok in which many different people created videos to specific parts of the song. There is a big debate whether his lyrics are racist and malicious intent or if his lyrics are just apart of his aesthetic and aura. He also has been calling out one of his favorites artists - Playboi Carti for holding out the release of WLR , Judah actually went ahead and dropped his own version of WLR, where he was imitating Carti’s signature sound. It is also reported that Mario Judah secured collaborations with Trippie Redd and Comethazine, so it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for him & his career.
