Rap artist - Flo Milli is definitely one of Controlled Sounds’ Artists to Watch in 2021, as she’s started her career in the music industry and started releasing music in 2015. In early 2019, Flo Milli signed a record deal with RCA Records which is the home to other superstars in the industry such as A$AP Rocky, Becky G, G Eazy, Dave Matthews Band, and plenty of other stars. In July of 2020, Flo Milli released her debut project “Ho, Why Is You Here?” which consisted of 12 tracks. Two of her singles went viral on TikTok - one being "Beef FloMix" as well as “In The Party” which lead to her breaking through as one of the most popular new artists in 2020.
In The Party was able to accumulate 11 million views while Beef FloMix was able to accumulate nearly 12 million views sine the release. Check out both music videos below:
“Ho, Why Is You Here?” was able to peak at 78 on the billboard top 200 charts, and with this being her first studio mixtape, fans can expect a lot more from this 21-year-old artist. Flo Milli actually collaborated with $NOT on Mean with visuals directed by Cole Bennett. We will all be waiting to see what’s in store for her in 2021 and if she will have any more viral hits.
