Artist To Watch 2021: Baby Keem Out Of Carson, California
Baby Keem is a rapper out of Carson, California & best known for his song “Orange Soda” off of his mixtape “Die For My Bitch.” The 19-year-old rapper has been making music since 2017 and has been progressed tremendously over the last four years. He is the cousin of one of the best artists in the game - Kendrick Lamar. Baby Keem actually helped Kendrick co-write and produce tracks on “Black Panther: The Album” as well as some other known TDE artists projects such as Jay Rock & SchoolBoy Q on their respective projects “Redemption” and “Crash Talk.”
Keem was apart of the XXL’s Freshman class of 2020 which included other rappers such as Polo G, NLE Choppa, Rod Wave, Jack Harlow along with many other stars.
He was able to accumulate nearly 20 million views on his hit single Orange Soda’s music video, in addition to that Keem’s most recent music video Hooligan was able to reach nearly 5 million views. Check them both out below:
